land rights acknowledgement

This business operates on stolen land of the Choctaw and Chitimatcha people. I humbly hold the utmost respect and honor for the Indigenous people that were betrayed on this land. I owe the greatest reverence to the Indigenous community members and loved ones that have graced me with their wisdom and companionship. I celebrate the heritage of the Indigenous people that have lived, still live, and will live here, and I renounce the genocide and racism that was and is still a part of the history of what we now call New Orleans, Louisiana. I urge all of you to explore the craft and spiritual ritual that is still practiced today by Big Chiefs and their Black Mask Indian Krewes.
